Leave to add the first informant (XYZ) as a party respondent to this application. Necessary amendment shall be carried out within one week from today. After the amendment is carried out, issue notice to the newly added respondent. The investigating officer to serve the notice to respondent No.2. 3.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that initially the applicant had initially lodged an FIR against the informant for extortion on 18 March 2025. Subsequently, on 9 April 2025, the informant filed the present FIR against the __________________________________________________ 18 June 2025

It is stated that the applicant and the informant had been in relationship since September 2023, and even after the alleged incident, they continued to travel together to various places. It is further submitted that the informant has lodged similar FIRs against other individuals, in the past. The learned Counsel also submits that the charge sheet has already been filed and nothing remains to be recovered and discovered from the applicant. It is also submitted that the applicant is ready and willing to cooperate with the investigating agency, including undergoing medical examination and surrendering his mobile phone.

Accordingly, the applicant is directed to attend the concerned police station on 23 and 24 June 2025, surrender his mobile phone, and undergo the requisite medical examination. 5.

By consent, stand over to 21 July 2025.
