This is application for anticipatory bail.

The Applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.594 of 2023, registered with Kurar Village Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

The first informant is producer of web series "Secrets of Gavaskar". According to him the applicant and other co-accused agreed to purchase the rights of said web series and agreed to pay Rs.82,00,000/- towards consideration. It is alleged that they got executed certain documents from him. It is alleged that thereafter they got released the said web series on OTT platform without paying a single farthing to him.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant has drawn my attention to the order passed by this Court dated 09th May 2025 in Criminal Bail Application No.269 of 2025 by which this Court has granted regular bail to the husband of the present Applicant. It is submitted that the Applicant has nothing to do with the alleged crime. It is submitted that main allegations are against the husband of the applicant and no specific allegations are made against the applicant.

Learned APP for the Respondent-State submits that appropriate orders may be passed.

I have perused the charge-sheet. It appears that the main allegations are against the husband of the present Applicant. There appears to be no need of custodial interrogation. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to release the Applicant on anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:
ORDER
i.
The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. ii.
In the event of the arrest of the Applicant in Crime No.594 of 2023, registered with Kurar Village Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, she shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
iii. The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the investigating officer for further

The Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
