The learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants have been falsely implicated in the present case and that the allegations made against them are highly exaggerated and do not reflect the true nature of the incident. The learned Counsel submits that the wife of the co-accused has lodged an FIR against the present informant and others, which contains allegations of a similar nature, thereby indicating that the incident in question was, in fact, a mutual altercation rather __________________________________________________ 7 August 2025

sg 15.aba1672-25.docx than a one sided assault. The cross FIR lends credence to the applicant's claim that the present FIR is not entirely impartial. The learned Counsel further submits that the present FIR does not contain any specific allegations pertaining to the outraging of the modesty of the informant. What has transpired appears to be a scuffle between the informant's party and the applicants, rather than a pre-meditated or the offence as alleged. He also submits that the investigation in the matter has already been concluded and no further recovery or discovery remains pending from the applicants.

The learned APP seeks an accommodation as the Investigating Officer is not present.

By consent, stand over to 4 September 2025. There shall not be any coercive action against the applicants in the present crime till the next date.
