Leave to implead the first informant as party respondent to this application. Amendment shall be carried out forthwith. The investigating officer to serve respondent No.2.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant and the informant were involved in a consensual love relationship and both parties are consenting adults. The Page No. 1 of 2 ____________________________________________ 23 June 2025

Chitra Sonawane 5-aba-1677-25.doc learned Counsel contends that, in light of the consensual nature of the relationship, the provisions of Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita have no application to the facts of this case. Furthermore, he submits that there is no recovery or discovery to be made at the instance of the applicant. The applicant is willing to attend the concerned police station, cooperate with the investigation and is also ready to undergo the medical examination.

There shall not be any coercive action against the applicant in the present crime till the next date. 5.

Stand over to 24 July 2025.

In the meanwhile, the applicant shall attend the concerned police station on 1, 2 and 3 July 2025, in between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and shall undergo the medical examination.
