This is an Application for anticipatory bail. 2.

The Applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No.304 of 2025 registered with Dharavi Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 318(4), 3(5) and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.

I have heard Learned Counsel for the Applicant and Learned APP for the Respondent-State.

It is the case of the prosecution that the Applicant along with the other co-accused promised to secure a well paying job in Bangkok for the first informant. For the said purpose, a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- was demanded from the first informant. Subsequently, it was revealed that the first informant had fallen prey to human trafficking and coerced to participate in cryptocurrency scam operations. Mugdha

Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the notice under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 was issued to the present Applicant. It is submitted that pursuant to the said notice, the Applicant had attended the concerned Police Station and co-operated with the investigation. It is submitted that the Applicant has even deposited his passport.

Learned APP for the Respondent-State, on instructions, submitted that the investigation is over.

I have perused the FIR. The main allegations are against the coaccused. There are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the Applicant on anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:

ORDER

i.

The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. ii.

In the event of the arrest of the Applicant in Crime No.304 of 2025 registered with Dharavi Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 318(4), 3(5) and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

The present Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
