The learned Counsel for the applicants submits that there is no material available on record to show that the applicants have opened any bank account in the name of informant with the Axis Bank. Furthermore, there is an absence of any evidence to establish that the mobile SIM numbers of the applicants were linked to the abovementioned bank account. He further submits that, admittedly, the mobile SIM numbers alleged to have been used in the commission of the offence are registered in the name of co-accused Arun Patil, who has already been granted anticipatory bail. Mamta Kale 18-aba-1911-2025.docx further submits that the allegations pertaining to the withdrawal of funds from the said Bank account are also exclusively directed against the said co-accused Arun Patil, and not against the present applicants. All the co-accused, except the present applicants, have already been granted anticipatory bail. In conclusion, the learned Counsel submits that the applicants are ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by the Court in the event of being granted anticipatory bail, including to surrender their mobile phones for the purpose of investigation and cooperate with the investigation.

The first informant appeared in person and seeks time to file an intervention application. The learned APP also seeks time to take instructions. By consent, stand over to 18 August 2025. There shall not be any coercive action against the applicants in the present crime till the next date. In the meantime, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station on 17th, 18th and 19th July 2025 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., surrender their mobile phones and cooperate with the investigation.
