The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that the applicant has neither direct nor indirect involvement in the alleged offence and has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He further submits that there exists no privity of contract between the applicant and the informant, and the entire dispute, which is purely civil in nature, has been deliberately given a criminal colour with the intent to exert undue pressure upon the applicant. The learned Counsel submits that the prosecution's allegation pertains to certain funds which were allegedly credited to the account of the co-accused, Yogesh Naagar. However, the applicant has no __________________________________________________ 25 July 2025

Furthermore, the learned Counsel draws the attention of this Court to the fact that co-accused Faizan Ranani has already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in relation to the same transaction, and therefore, the principal of parity should also be considered while adjudicating the present application.
