Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent /State.

By this application, the applicant seeks anticipatory bail
in connection with CR No.146 of 2025, registered at Ravet Police Station, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

According to the prosecution, the applicant was married to the informant on 25 April 2022. Subsequent to the solemnisation of the marriage, the applicant, along with the informant's in-laws, subjected her to persistent harassment and ill-treatment. It is further alleged that they demanded monetary amounts from the informant's parents.

At the outset, the learned APP, based on the instructions from the Investigating Officer present in the Court, submits that the investigation in the present crime has been concluded, and the prosecution is in the process of filing the charge sheet, and at this stage does not require the custodial interrogation of the applicant.

Considering the nature of the allegations and the fact that the investigation has been concluded and the prosecution is not pressing for the applicant's custody, this Court is of the opinion that the present application deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the following order is passed :
ORDER
(i) In the event of the applicant's arrest in connection with CR No.146 of 2025, registered at Ravet Police Station, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, he shall be released on bail upon executing a PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one or more sureties in the like amount.
ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer till filing of the charge sheet.
(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution's evidence and influence the witnesses. 6.
