The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the lawful owner of the disputed property, having acquired the same through a duly executed and registered sale deed. He further submits that all relevant revenue records and entries pertaining to the said property stand in the name of the applicant. The learned Counsel submits that the only allegation levelled against the applicant is that he purportedly issued threats to the Page No. 1 of 2 ____________________________________________ 1 August 2025

Apart from this, no direct involvement or participation of applicant in the commission of the alleged offence has been attributed. Thus, the learned Counsel submits that the applicant has no connection whatsoever with the incident in question. It is also brought to the attention of this Court that the co-accused in the present matter has already been granted an interim by an order of this Court dated 27 June 2025.

At this stage, Mr Kazi, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the informant, seeks some time to file an intervention application.

By consent, stand over to 22 August 2025. In the meantime, the applicant shall attend the concerned police station on 11, 12 and 13 August 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and cooperate with the investigation. There shall not be any coercive action against the applicant in the present crime till the next date.
