The learned APP, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that following the receipt of the medical opinion and upon a detailed examination of the statement provided by the deceased's daughter, the prosecution has found sufficient grounds to alter the legal framework of the case. Consequently, the process has been initiated to incorporate Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, thereby treating the matter as one involving the offence of murder.
