The learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants are innocent and have not committed any offence of any nature as alleged in the present FIR. It is submitted that, in fact, the wife of applicant No.1 has already lodged an FIR bearing No.293 of 2025, dated 30 June 2025, which was filed prior in point of time and is directed against the present informant. This clearly indicates that the present FIR has been lodged as a counterblast to the earlier one. The learned Counsel further submits that the applicants and informant are closely related, and the present proceedings appear to have arisen out of familial discord and internal disputes. Applicant No.3 is currently pursuing his academic studies and his examinations __________________________________________________ 6 August 2025

sg 916.aba2196-25.docx are scheduled to commence from tomorrow. In view of this, it is prayed that appropriate protection may be granted to ensure that his education and academic progress are not adversely affected.

The learned APP seeks an accommodation as the Investigating Officer is not present.

By consent, stand over to 19 August 2025. There shall not be any coercive action against the applicants in the present crime until the next date.
