This is an Application for anticipatory bail. MUGDHA MANOJ PARANJAPE 2.

The Applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No.7 of 2025 registered with Nodal Cyber Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 3(5), 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. 3.

The allegations against the present Applicant and other co-accused are of defrauding the first informant to the tune of Rs.2,58,00,000/- through online fraud.

I have heard Learned Counsel for the Applicant and Learned APP for the Respondent-State.

This Court by the order dated 30th September 2025 directed the present Applicant to attend the concerned police station. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that pursuant to the said order, the Applicant has Mugdha

2 18-ABA 2321-25.doc attended the concerned police station and cooperated in the investigation. 6.

Learned APP for the Respondent-State submits that custodial interrogation of the Applicant is not necessary. It is however submitted that the Applicant be directed to deposit his passport. 7.

Considering the above facts, I am inclined to release the Applicant on anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:

ORDER

i.

The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. ii.

In the event of the arrest of the Applicant in Crime No.7 of 2025 registered with Nodal Cyber Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 3(5), 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, he shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

iii. The Applicant shall deposit his passport with the concerned Police Station within a period of three weeks from today. iv.

The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called for by the investigating officer and shall cooperate in the investigation. v.

Liberty is granted to the Applicant to file an application for return of passport, if such need arises.

The present Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
