The Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No.0595 of 2025 registered with Barshi City Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, "IPC").

The prosecution case is that, the complainant and his friends invested Rs.30,00,000/- with Rajendra Gundap and gave assurance that he will give 10% interest on the investment. For some months, payment of interest was given, later on, it was avoided and they were cheated for Rs.17,00,000/-. Hence, the complaint. 3.
The name of the Applicant is not mentioned in the F.I.R. The Applicant is working as a Manager in a Crypto Currency Agency. Shantanu S. Dhudum

According to the Applicant, upon receipt of the summons from the Investigating Agency, he has appeared and handed over the relevant documents showing that the amount invested by accused No.1 through him was invested in the Crypto Currency Account in the name of Accused No.1. The account extract is also handed over by him to the police.

Learned APP submitted that charge-sheet has already been filed against Accused Nos.1 and 2 and so far as the present Applicant is concerned, supplementary charge-sheet is likely to be filed. 6.
Since, the Applicant has co-operated in the investigation and he is willing to co-operate in the investigation henceforth also, custodial detention/interrogation of the Applicant is not warranted in the facts of the present case.

In the result, the application is allowed by confirming the interim protection granted vide order dated 9th October, 2025. 8.
The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station from 15th to 22nd January between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and shall cooperate in the investigation, and thereafter shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer.
