Paper production is urgently sought in the matter for continuation of interim protection which is granted till today under order dated 03.02.2026. The matter is urgently moved because regular Bench is not available.

By the earlier order dated 03.02.2026, Anticipatory Bail Application was directed to be placed on board today, however, it is not listed.

Learned A.P.P has pointed out that despite two earlier orders dated 14.01.2026 and 03.02.2026, the Applicant has not surrendered the mobile-phone/handset bearing a particular IMEI number as recorded in the said orders. She submits that the said mobile handset is the one used for recording obscene video involved in the subject matter Shailaja 1

She submits that according to the Investigating Officer the handset and IMEI number was the same handset in which the Applicant's SIM card with mobile No.8591740027 was used. She submits that it has surfaced during investigation that the said handset was purchased one day before commission of crime. She has placed on record copies of three notices dated 09.12.2025, 07.01.2026 and 19.01.2026 indicating that the Applicant was called upon by the concerned Investigating Officer for producing/surrendering the said mobile handset.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant tendered an affidavit affirmed on 27.01.2026 taking a stand that particular handset of 'Redmi' Company does not belong to him and the concerned SIM number has been used by him since May, 2023 onwards which is much after the date of incident. He has relied on a screen shot of SMS in which it is stated that the Applicant's mobile number is activated in May, 2023. 5.

Considering the nature of offence involved and the earlier orders, explanation tendered on affidavit by the Applicant is not found satisfactory. In the circumstances, in my view, this case does not call for indulgence of extension of interim relief. Interim relief stands vacated. 6.
