Anticipatory Bail Application No.2469 of 2025 is filed by the brother-in-law of the deceased and Anticipatory Bail Application No.2471 of 2025 is filed by the sister-in-law of the deceased. The Applicants are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.R. No.430 of 2025 registered with Wakad Police Station, PimpariChinchwad, Pune for the offence punishable under Sections 108, 80, 85, 115(2), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act,1961. 3.
As per the prosecution case, the deceased i.e. the wife of the accused No.1-Harshal Shantaram Suryawanshi died by suicide due to the harassment of the accused. The accused No.2 is mother-inlaw and the accused No.3 is father-in-law of the deceased, accused
No.4 and accused No.5 are the present Applicants in these Anticipatory Bail Applications.

The main allegations are against the accused No.1-husband. It is an admitted position that the accused No.1-husband and accused No.3-father-in-law of the deceased are behind bars. As far as allegations against the Applicant-Yogesh Shantaram Patil is concerned, the FIR which has been lodged by the brother of the deceased mentions that the brother of the deceased had requested the Applicant-Yogesh to talk with the husband and in-laws of the deceased to behave with the deceased properly and it is the allegation that the Applicant-Yogesh had a talk with in-laws and husband of the deceased and also with the deceased and at that time, he told the deceased to behave properly and also to do the household work properly and it is alleged that he also told the deceased whether she want to stay alive. However, the position on record shows that this is not a case where custodial interrogation of the Applicant-Yogesh is necessary.

Mr. Amey Deshpande, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, on instructions of the Applicant, states that the Applicant will give complete co-operation with the investigation. 6.
As far as the other Applicant-Jayshri Pawar, who is sister-inlaw of the deceased is concerned, the Applicant-Jayshri used to call in-laws and other relatives and she used to tell them that the deceased was not behaving properly. However, the position on record shows that this is not a case where custodial interrogation of the Applicant-Jayshri is necessary.

Mr. Nitin Patil, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, on instructions of the Applicant, states that the Applicant will give complete co-operation with the investigation. 8.
The material on record shows that the main allegations are against the accused No.1-husband and in-laws. The accused No.1husband and the accused No.3-father-in-law are behind bars. In any case, the material on record shows that the custodial interrogation of the Applicants is not necessary. Accordingly, the
case is made out for grant of Anticipatory Bail. In view thereof, the following order is passed:
O R D E R
(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant- Yogesh Shantaram Patil and Applicant-Jayshri Vishal Pawar in connection with C.R. No.430 of 2025 registered with the Wakad Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, under Sections 108, 80, 85, 115(2), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act,1961, the Applicants are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- each with one or two solvent sureties each in the like amount.
(b) The Applicant-Yogesh Shantaram Patil shall attend the concerned Police Station on 15th September 2025 and 17th September 2025 between 11:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. In addition, the Applicant- Yogesh Shantaram Patil shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called.
(c) The Applicant-Jayshri Vishal Pawar shall attend the
concerned Police Station on 16th September 2025 and 18th September 2025 between 11:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. In addition, the Applicant-Jayshri Vishal Pawar shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called.
(d) The Applicants shall furnish their cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto.
(e) The Applicants shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel.
(f) The Applicants shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.
(g) The Applicants shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court.

The Anticipatory Bail Applications are disposed of accordingly.
