Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No. 740 of 2024 registered with Pandharpur City Police Station, Dist. Solapur for offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 470, 471, 408 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in short is that applicant along with other co-accused were working in the company viz. I.I.F.L.. The company used to provide the home loan and other type of loans to the customers. The present applicant/accused and other co-accused used to visit the customers and collect the documents relating to loan. It is alleged that the present applicant along with co-accused conspired with the customers and prepared forged and fabricated documents. In Bhagyawant Punde
{2} 43-ABA-2498-2025 the said documents, extracts were fabricated. The forged signatures and stamps of Gramsevak were made and with the help of these forged and fabricated documents and stamps, loan to the extent of Rs. 17,32,200/- was issued. Further it is alleged that applicant and coaccused are responsible for the alleged forged and fabricated documents.

Learned advocate for the applicant submits that as per the FIR offence is committed during the period between 01.01.2022 to 30.04.2023, whereas the applicant has joined the duty at Solapur on 15.06.2023, thus he has no concern with the alleged crime. 4.
Learned APP, on instructions from the investigation officer, who is present in the Court, has confirmed the said fact. She further submits that after granting interim protection, applicant has attended the concerned police station and co-operated in the investigation. 5.
In the light of above, prima facie it appears that applicant is not involved in the present crime. Therefore, applicant deserves to be protected.
