The Applicant apprehends arrested in Crime No.167 of 2009 registered with Sangola Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 380 and 457 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, "IPC").

The Applicant was granted interim protection vide order dated 6th January 2026.

The Applicant has attended concerned police station and cooperated in the investigation. 4.

Learned APP, on instructions, from the concerned officer, who is present in the Court submits that the Applicant was earlier arrested in the present crime and was released on bail. Pursuant to Shantanu S. Dhudum

33-ABA-2521-2025 (CR).DOC the interim protection, he has attended the police station and cooperated in the investigation. His custody is not required in the present crime.

In this view of the matter, the application is allowed by confirming the interim protection. Till filing of charge-sheet, the Applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer.
