DATE : 27th April, 2026.
P. C. :
1.
The Applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 219 of 2015, registered with Sangola Police Station, District Solapur, for offence punishable under Sections 380 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.
Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicant and the learned APP for the Respondent-State. I have gone through the case diary.
3.
It appears that on 08.09.2015, theft occurred at the residence of the Complainant, wherein gold ornaments and cash were stolen.
Accordingly, on 09.09.2015, a report was lodged by the Complainant. During the course of investigation, a co-accused was arrested, and the stolen gold ornaments were recovered, except for one silver coin. The offence was registered in the year 2015.
4.
It further appears that the Applicant was granted ad-interim protection with directions to attend the concerned police station. The Applicant has complied with the said directions and has cooperated with the investigation. 5.
Considering that the offence pertains to the year 2015 and that all the gold ornaments have already been recovered, as well as the fact that the charge-sheet has already been filed against the co-accused, custodial interrogation of the Applicant may not be necessary for the purpose of investigation.
6.
In view of the aforesaid circumstances, a case is made out for confirmation of the ad-interim order dated 06.01.2026 passed by this Court. Hence, the following order:
::ORDER::
(a) The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. The interim order dated 06.01.2026 stands confirmed.
