The Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No.373 of 2025 registered with Velapur Police Station, Solapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 108 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, "BNS Act").

In the F.I.R. lodged by the informant, it is alleged that the Applicant has abetted the suicide of the daughter of Mahadev Sawant. It is also alleged that there were illicit relations between one Rahul Ashok Shinde and sister-in-law of the informant (wife of the deceased), and the Applicant used to help them and to give trouble to the deceased.

Heard learned advocate for the Applicant, learned APP for the Respondent - State instructed by the Investigating Officer present in the Court. Perused the Investigation Papers. 4.

Prima facie, there does not appear any evidence connecting the Applicant with the alleged offence. No evidence of abetment appears to be collected during the course of the investigation. Chargesheet is filed in the present crime on 2nd January, 2026. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations, custodial interrogation of the Applicant is not necessary.

In the result, the application is allowed in terms of the interim protection granted vide order dated 22nd December, 2025. 6.

The Applicant shall co-operate in the investigation. 7.
