This is an Application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.629 of 2025 registered with the Chakan Police Station, District-Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 121(1) and 132 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 134, 184 and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

As per the prosecution case, the Complainant / First Informant is working in the Traffic Department of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerates, Taluka - Khed, District - Pune and while the Complainant was performing her duty, on 30th August 2025, a Scorpio vehicle stopped at the signal and while checking the said vehicle through Nakabandi App and M-Transport App it was found that there was pending fine of Rs.62,000/- against the said vehicle.

As per the prosecution case, when the Applicant was asked to produced driving license, he refused to show the same and when he was asked to take the vehicle aside, in order to avoid payment of the pending fine of Rs.62,000/- he moved the vehicle forward and when the efforts were made to stop the vehicle, the Applicant has not stopped the vehicle and in the process Complainant's left-hand finger got scratched and her right hand got jerked, thereby causing her injuries.

Mr. Hogle, learned Counsel for the Applicant, states that said fine of Rs.25,000/- as reduced by the Lok Adalat has been paid. He
further submits that the Applicant will cooperate with the investigation.

Accordingly, the case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. In view thereof, the following Order is passed:
O R D E R
(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Prafulla Sarjerao Mungase in connection with CR No.629 of 2025 registered with the Chakan Police Station, District-Pune, be released on bail on his furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.
(b) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 24th September 2025 and 25th September 2025 between 11:00 am to 02:00 pm and thereafter once every week i.e. on every Sunday between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm and shall cooperate with the investigation.
(c) The Applicant shall furnish his cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and
shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto.
(d) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel.
(e) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.
(f) The Applicant shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court.
