This is an Application for anticipatory bail. MUGDHA MANOJ PARANJAPE 2.
The Applicants are apprehending their arrest in Crime No.336 of 2025 registered with Vanrai Police Station for the offences punishable MUGDHA MANOJ PARANJAPE Date: 2025.10.29 15:34:44 +0530 under Sections 324(4), 3(5), 118(2), 118(1), 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

According to the prosecution, on the date of incident, which took place on 31st August 2025, dispute arose between the first informant and his brother on the one hand and the present Applicants on the other hand. It is alleged that during the said dispute, the present Applicants assaulted the first informant and his brother by iron rod, due to which they sustained grievous injury.

I have heard Learned Counsel for the Applicants and Learned APP for the Respondent-State.

Learned Counsel for the Applicants submit that there is a cross FIR in relation to the alleged incident. It is submitted that the Applicants also sustained injuries in the incident in question. It is submitted that there are no other criminal antecedents against the present Applicants. 6.
On the other hand, Learned APP for the Respondent-State submits that on very trivial ground, the first informant and his brother were assaulted. It is submitted that the iron rod is to be recovered and therefore custodial interrogation of the Applicants is necessary. 7.
I have perused the FIR. Prima facie, the incident does not appear to be premeditated. There are cross FIRs in relation to the alleged incident. There are no other criminal antecedents against the present Applicants. Considering the said facts, I am inclined to release the Applicants on anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:
ORDER
i.
The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. ii.
In the event of the arrest of the Applicants in Crime No.336 of 2025 registered with Vanrai Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 324(4), 3(5), 118(2), 118(1), 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, they shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each with one or two sureties in the like amount.
iv.
The Applicants shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called for by the investigating officer and shall cooperate in the investigation.

The present Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
