Heard Mr. Pawar, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and Mr. Metkari, learned APP for the Respondent-State of Maharashtra.

By this Anticipatory Bail Application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ("BNSS"), the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.204 of 2025 registered with the Vadgaon Nimbalkar Police Station, District - Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 118(2),

125(a), 352, 351(2), 351(3) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

As per the prosecution case, the Applicant assaulted the First Informant with a sickle.

It is the submission of Mr. Pawar, learned Counsel for the Applicant, that the incident in question took place suddenly. The injuries are not on the vital parts of the body. The Applicant is a young person, aged 19 years. There are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant.

On the other hand, Mr. Metkari, learned APP, strongly opposes the Anticipatory Bail Application. He points out the Injury Certificate dated 21st August 2025 issued by 'Shri Krupa Hospital'. He submits that the Applicant used a weapon and that the injuries are grievous. He therefore submits that the Anticipatory Bail Application be rejected.

Perusal of the record shows that the injuries caused are not on the vital parts of the body. The Applicant is a young man, aged 19 years. There are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant. 7.

Accordingly, the case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. In view thereof, the following Order is passed:

O R D E R

(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Mayur Ravindra Bhosale, in connection with CR No.204 of 2025 registered with the Vadgaon Nimbalkar Police Station, District - Pune, he be released on bail on his furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount. (b) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 13th November 2025 and 14th November 2025 between 11:00 am to 02:00 pm and thereafter as and when necessary, till filing of the Charge-sheet and shall cooperate with the investigation.

(c) The Applicant shall furnish his cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and

shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto.

(d) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel.

(e) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.
