Heard Mr. Pranit Kulkarni, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and Mr. Metkari, learned APP for the Respondent-State of Maharashtra.

By the present Anticipatory Bail Application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.403 of 2025 registered with the Nigdi Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 108,
85, 352, 351(2), 115(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The prosecution case is set out in Paragraph No.3 of the Order dated 3rd October 2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in Criminal Bail Application No.6191 of 2025. The said Paragraph No.3 reads as under :- "3] The case of the prosecution in short is that the informant is father of deceased. The marriage of deceased was solemnized with accused No.1 in the year 2014. For the initial period of three years her in-laws well treated her. Thereafter, some flimsy disputes were arising between husband and wife. The deceased was informing about the same to the informant through phone call. The informant and his family members persuaded the deceased time to time. In May 2023 the deceased informed the informant by phone call that her husband and mother-in-law are demanding money for purchasing land.
They were asking to bring money from her father. On count they were abusing, beating and mentally harassing her. On 18/11/2023 the informant had given Rs.10,00,000/- kept in the bank account of his wife to the person as directed by accused No.1. Thereafter also, the accused persons were demanding more money from the deceased. The informant has transferred amount to accused No.1 from the bank accounts of his wife and son. On 01/09/2025 at about 4.17 p.m. informant's son Balasaheb received phone call from accused No.1, who informed that deceased has hanged herself. Therefore, the informant, his son and other relativizes came at YCM Hospital, Pimpri, Pune. They came to know that informant's daughter Anuradha is died.
02/09/2025. On the basis of his report, CR no. 403/2025 came to be registered with Nigadi Police Station."

It is the submission of Mr. Kulkarni, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant that the Applicant is not involved in the crime. He submits that the Applicant has completely cooperated with the investigation. He further submits that there are no other criminal antecedents against the Applicant. 5.
Mr. Metkari, learned APP, for the Respondent-State of Maharashtra, submits that investigation is almost completed and the Charge-sheet will be filed within a period of 15 days from today.

Accordingly, the case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. In view thereof, the following Order is passed:
O R D E R
(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Akash Namdev Bedge in connection with CR No.403 of 2025 registered with the Nigdi Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, he be released on bail on his furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with
one or two solvent sureties in the like amount. (b) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called by the Investigating Officer till filing of the Charge-sheet and shall cooperate with the investigation.
(c) The Applicant shall furnish his cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto.
(d) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel.
(e) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.
