2.

By this application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ("BNSS"), the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.R. 3.

As per prosecution case, in view of the information received by the Police Officials, they effected raid on Hotel Krishna Lodge at Chakan Chowk and at that time three women were found to be involved in prostitution activity. During investigation, it was found that the present Applicant has engaged the victims for conducting said activity and he used to pay them Rs.500/- per customer. 4.

It is the contention of Mr. Paradkar, learned Counsel for the Applicant that all three victims are adults. The Applicant is working as Manager in a Beer Bar which is located on the ground floor and on the first floor, the said Krishna Lodge is located. He submits that the Applicant is not involved in the crime. 5.

On the other hand, Mr. Karmakar, learned APP submits that the offence is very serious and the Applicant has antecedent where the Applicant is involved in same kind of offence. 6.

Perusal of record shows that all three women are adults. Except the statement of the victims, there is no other material against the present Applicant. The Applicant was not present when the raid was conducted.

7.

Accordingly by imposing stringent conditions, the Anticipatory Bail Application can be granted. As there is one antecedent of the similar nature, registered with Shikrapur Police Station, Pune Rural.
