This is an application for Transit Anticipatory Bail. 2.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 751 of 2025 registered at Ramamurthy Nagar Police Station, Banaswadi Sub Division, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

It is the case of the prosecution that the applicant is a 1/3

stock broker. It is alleged that the applicant has defrauded the first informant to the tune of Rs.20,00,000/- 4.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is ready and willing to return back the amount of Rs.20,00,000/- to the first informant. It is submitted that, on the instructions of the investigating officer, the concerned bank has already freezed the bank account of the present applicant. The learned counsel submits that, to enable the applicant to approach the concerned jurisdictional Court, the applicant be protected for a period of two weeks.

Considering the fact that the applicant is willing to return back the amount of Rs.20,00,000/- to the first informant, I am inclined to protect the applicant for a period of two weeks. In the result, the following order is passed :

a) The Application is allowed.

b) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with Crime No. 751 of 2025 registered at Ramamurthy Nagar Police Station, Banaswadi Sub Division, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount for a period of two weeks.

The application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
