This is an application for Anticipatory Bail. 2.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 263 of 2025 registered at D. N. Nagar Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(c) & 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 3.

On 16.02.2025, on the basis of secret information, a search of the house of co-accused Rizwana was taken and 136 grams of Mephedrone was recovered from her house. During the course of interrogation, the said co-accused Rizwana disclosed Pramod S.Lakare 1/2

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has nothing to do with the alleged crime. It is submitted that the applicant is ready and willing to co-operate in the investigation. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that there are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant. 5.

As on today, except for the said disclosure statement made by the co-accused, there is no incriminating material against the present applicant. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to protect the applicant at this stage. The applicant shall attend the concerned police station on 02.12.2025 and 04.12.2025 and shall co-operate in the investigation. 6.

List the present application on 12.12.2025. Till next date, the applicant shall not be arrested.
