1. This Application is filed by the Applicant for transit bail in connection with Crime No.21 of 2024 for offences under Sections 1/5
420, 409, 384, 201, 120B read with Section 34 and 37 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 7, 7A, 8, 9, 12, 13, 13(1)(a), 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 by CID Police Station, A.P., Mangalagiri.

The contentions which are raised in the present Application by the Applicant is that, he wants to file an appropriate Application for anticipatory bail before the jurisdictional District Court however, there is a fear that the Respondent No.1 might arrest the Applicant thereby curtailing his right to obtain anticipatory bail. Mr. Siddharth Luthra, learned Senior Counsel for the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that the Applicant is not residing in Mumbai but he is residing in Rajasthan. He states that the Applicant is not cooperating with investigation. He seeks rejection of the application.
3. Heard learned Counsel appearing for both the parties. This Court has not gone into the merits of the matter including the case of the Applicant for grant of anticipatory bail. Since there is a genuine 2/5
apprehension of arrest of Applicant in connection with the aforesaid crime which is well supported by the arrest of the brother of the Applicant. The Applicant should be given an opportunity of availing his right to file anticipatory bail before the jurisdictional Court. I am inclined to pass the following order:
ORDER
i.
In the event of arrest of the Applicant in connection with Crime No. Crime No.21 of 2024 for offences under Sections 420, 409, 384, 201, 120B read with Section 34 and 37 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 7, 7A, 8, 9, 12, 13, 13(1)(a), 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 by by CID Police Station, A.P., Mangalagiri, the Applicant be released on bail on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount. This protection is granted for a limited period of 10 days from the date of uploading the present order to enable the Applicant to approach the 3/5
competent Court seeking appropriate relief.
ii.
The Applicant shall not leave jurisdiction of Maharashtra, save and accepted for the purpose of cooperating with the investigation and seeking Anticipatory Bail in the jurisdictional Court.
4. It is made clear that, this Court has not gone into the merits of the entitlement of the Applicant to get anticipatory bail and the same will be decided by the competent jurisdictional Court. This Order is passed only to enable the Applicant to exercise his right to obtain Anticipatory Bail from the competent Court.
5. The Applicant to co-operate with the investigating agencies. Mr. Siddharth Luthra, learned Senior Advocate for the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that, the Investigating Officer intends to investigate the Applicant on 02/01/2026 at 11:00 a.m. The Applicant to remain present before the Investigating Officer at the 4/5
said time.
6. The Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of accordingly.
7. All concerned parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
