This is an application for Anticipatory Bail. 2.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 649 of 2025 registered at Malad Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is the case of the prosecution that the present applicant and other co-accused had defrauded the first informant 1/3

to the tune of Rs.34,00,000/- by not paying the said amount towards the goods supplied to them by the first informant. 4.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The learned APP for the respondent-State has drawn my attention to the supplementary statement of the first informant recorded on 24.12.2025. In the said statement, the first informant has admitted that he has received the amount of Rs.34,00,000/- after registration of the FIR. 6.

I have perused the First Information Report. Prima-facie, dispute between the parties appears to be of a civil nature. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the applicant on anticipatory bail. In the result, the following order is passed :

a) The Application is allowed.

b) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with Crime No. 649 of 2025 registered at Malad Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.
