Heard Mr. Chandanshive, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and Ms. Mulekar, learned APP for the Respondent-State of Maharashtra.

By the present Anticipatory Bail Application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.623 of 2025 registered with the Daund Police Station, District-Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 352, 351(2), 132 and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The prosecution case is set out in Paragraph No.2 of the Order dated 30th October 2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Baramati, District-Pune, which reads as under :- "2] Brief facts of the prosecution case are : - The informant Yogesh Vishwanath Sakat has filed report against the accused on 26/09/2025 alleging that, on that day; at about 10:00 am he was on duty at Tahasil Karyalay, Daund and working as Data Entry Operator. At about 10:30 am, the accused came in Tahasil Office, Daund and asked the informant whether he has completed the work of Madane, Pahane and Nitu, handed over by her to him. The informant replied that, the earlier applications of other persons are pending and he will complete the work handed over by the accused after completion of his earlier work.

The informant also told the accused that he is facing slow network issue. So, unable to complete the work. At that time, accused started insisting the informant to complete her work immediately. When the informant tried to convince her, she started abusing him in filthy language and tried to slap him. He steps back and missed the blow. The accused gave fist blow on his left hand and threatened that she will file report against him about outraging of her modesty. Accordingly, the accused assaulted and threatened the informant and deter him from discharging of his official duty. So, he has filed report of incident against the accused."

It is the submission of Mr. Chandanshive, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, that the Applicant is a lady of 57 years. He submits that the Applicant will not enter the Tahsil

Office, Daund, District-Pune, till the filing of the Charge-sheet and if the Charge-sheet is filed then till the conclusion of the trial. 5.

Ms. Mulekar, learned APP for the Respondent-State, strongly opposes the Anticipatory Bail Application. She submits that the offence is very serious as the Applicant has threatened the Public Officer. There are two criminal antecedents against the Applicant. She therefore states that the Anticipatory Bail Application be rejected.

Perusal of the record shows that the offence is very serious. However, the Applicant is a lady of 57 years. In the facts and circumstances, the custodial interrogation is not necessary. 7.

However, in view of the fact that the Applicant has threatened the Government Officer and also that there are two earlier antecedents against the Applicant, stringent conditions are required to be imposed.

As noted herein above, Mr. Chandanshive, learned Counsel for the Applicant has stated that the Applicant will not enter the Tahsil Office, Daund, District-Pune.

Accordingly, the case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail by imposing conditions. In view thereof, the following Order is passed:

O R D E R

(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Chetana Vijay Sonavane, in connection with CR No.623 of 2025 registered with the Daund Police Station, DistrictPune, she be released on bail on her furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.

(b) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station, once in a week i.e. on every Sunday between 11:00 am to 02:00 pm, till filing of the Charge-sheet and shall cooperate with the investigation.

(c) The Applicant will not enter the Tahsil Office, Daund, District-Pune.

(d) The Applicant shall furnish her cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto.

(e) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel.

(f) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.

(g) The Applicant shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court.
