Heard Mr. Bankapur, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, Mr. Mangaonkar, learned APP appearing for the Respondent No.1-State and Mr. Deore, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.2.

A learned Single Judge (Coram: Sandesh D. Patil, J.) by order dated 2nd January 2026 directed the Applicant to implead the First Informant as Respondent No.2 and granted interim protection.

Mr. Bankapur, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, submits that through inadvertence, the amendment has remained to be carried out. Accordingly, time to carry out the amendment is extended. Amendment be carried out forthwith. Re-verification is dispensed with.

Both, Mr. Bankapur, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and Mr. Deore, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.2 submit that the FIR has been registered due to some misunderstanding. Both of them submit that the Applicant and the Respondent are proposing to file the Writ Petition seeking quashing of the FIR.

Accordingly, in the facts and circumstances, case is made out for grant of pre-arrest bail.

The Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in terms of order dated 2nd January 2026.
