2) RULE. Rule made returnable forthwith. The criminal application is heard finally with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

3) This is an application to quash the charge-sheet being RCC No.903 of 2022 arising out of First Information Report No.0198 of 2022 registered with Police Station Civil Lines, Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 452, 354-A, 294, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

4) The First Information Report is registered against the applicant, who is son-in-law of non-applicant N0.2. She is the complainant in the said First Information Report. The marriage of daughter of non-applicant No.2 was performed with the applicant. Both of them are holding respectable posts. The applicant is the legal practitioner and the daughter of non-applicant No.2 is police Sub Inspector. Due to family dispute, she left the house and when the applicant went to her house, the altercation took place between

3/4 APL 6 of 25 them and allegations are made that the non-applicant has abused in filthy language to the non-applicant No.2, her daughter-in-law and her daughter i.e wife of the applicant. Therefore, the crime is registered.

5) The matter is amicably settled between the parties. The non-applicant No.2 has appeared in the Court. She has stated that all of them have no grievance against each other and as the matter is settled, they have requested to quash and set aside the chargesheet. The affidavits of the wife of the applicant and the daughterin-law of non-applicant No.2 are filed on record. 6) Considering the affidavits filed by both the victims and non-applicant no.2, who was present before the Court, has stated that the matter is settled between the parties. Hence considering the settlement between the parties, charge-sheet being RCC No.903 of 2022 arising out of First Information Report No.0198 of 2022 registered with Police Station Civil Lines, Akola for the

4/4 APL 6 of 25 offence punishable under Sections 452, 354-A, 294, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code is hereby quashed and set aside. 7) Criminal Application stands disposed of.
