It is submitted that the non-applicant No.1 is a nominee and the non-applicant No.13 is the company. He submitted that in ignorance of settled law that once a person is nominated in accordance with Rule 2.5.1 of the Rules of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011, such person shall be responsible for Food Safety and shall be liable for contravention, for such establishment, branch or unit, the learned trial Court issued summons against the applicant. 2.
Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 21.03.2025.

The learned A.P.P. waives service of notice for the non-applicant/State.

Till next date, the proceeding before the learned trial Court is stayed.
