Learned counsel for the non-applicant No.2 has pointed out that the applicants are the proclaimed offender in another crime which is also registered on the basis of the complainant, who is the first wife of the co-accused. He placed reliance on the decision of High Court of Punjab and Haryana in the case of Satpal & Ors. Vs. State of Punjab [Cri. Misc. No.M-1422/2012 (O&M) decided on 24.01.2012] wherein it is specifically observed that petitioner who is not submitting to the jurisdiction of the court, and is proclaimed offender cannot seek quashing of the FIR. In view of that, I have shown my disinclination to entertain the application. Hence, learned counsel for the applicants seeks withdrawal of the application.
