The application is filed by the applicant for quashing of First Information Report (FIR) No. 0451/2024 registered at Police Station, Pachpaoli, District Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 354-D and 500 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). 2.

The parties were staying separately since 2019. The matter is settled between the parties. Mediation report is filed. Joint compromise pursis is also filed on record. As per joint compromise pursis, the parties have settled the matter. It is one of the conditions that nonapplicant no. 2 has given consent for quashing of FIR and withdrawal of maintenance proceedings. In view of the terms settled between the parties, the joint compromise pursis filed on record and further, the parties, who are present before the Court. They wanted to stay together along with their son. In view of the statement made by both the parties, the application is allowed.
