Learned Counsel for the Applicant, submitted that the Applicant and Non-applicant No.2 have settled the dispute amicably. The affidavit filed by the Non-applicant No.2 on record especially para 3, which is reproduced as under: "3.The respondent No. 2 desires to move forward in life by putting past events behind her. She doesn't wish to suffer the agony of trial, which would reopen old wounds and cause additional pain and sorrow. The respondent No. 2 looks forward to a peaceful, happy, and joyful life. To achieve this, she has decided to relinquish the dispute and hold a stress-free future."

In the light of the above contentions in the affidavit, it appears that, the settlement is not by her free consent but due to some pressure, and therefore, her presence before the Court is required.

The learned Counsel for the Non-applicant No.2, shall secure her presence before the Court on 23.03.2026. 4.
