This is an application for intervention filed by the brother of the deceased Gautam Sonavate. The appeal is filed by the State against the acquittal. The present Applicant wants to 1/2

35-ia19-26.doc intervene in this Application to support the State of Maharashtra in challenging the order of acquittal passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in Sessions Case No.304 of 2017. 2.

The Intervenor / Applicant is the original first informant. He has lost his brother. Therefore, in these circumstances, we are inclined to permit the Applicant to intervene in the Appeal to support the State of Maharashtra. Hence the following order is passed.

The Interim Application is allowed. The Applicant to be impleaded as one of the Respondents. Learned APP shall carry out amendment in the cause title of the Appeal / Application for leave to file the appeal. Amendment to be carried out forthwith 4.
