This is an application filed by the Respondent No.2 in the Writ Petition seeking extension of time to file affidavit of assets and liabilities afresh before the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate 54th Court, Mazgaon, Mumbai. This Court had disposed of the Writ Petition vide order dated 09.12.2025, directing the parties to file fresh affidavit of Assets and Liabilities, disclosing their income and expenditure within a period of 15 days from the date of the order. IA 38 OF 2026 (CRI).DOC Assets and Liabilities. Therefore, his affidavit of Assets and Liabilities was not accepted by the Metropolitan Court at Mazgaon. According to him, the 15 days time granted by this Court ended on 23.12.2025, and, he approached the Court on 24.12.2025. Because of his pre occupation with his job, he could not approach the Court within time, as it was also necessary for him to collect the documents required to be submitted alongwith the affidavit.

Since this delay is just for a period of one day and it is inadvertent and unintentional, it would be appropriate to extend the time for filing the affidavit of Assets and Liabilities is extended for a period of eight days from the date of this order. Although the copy of the Application is served on the Respondent, none appears for the Respondent.

Interim Application stands disposed of.

REVIEW APPLICATION NO. 1 OF 2026 Although the praecipe is moved for hearing of the Review Application, none present for the Applicant in the Review Application. Advocate Mr. A. A. Ansari, present for the Respondent. He submits that he has not been served with the copy of the Review Application. Since none appears for the Applicant, list the matter on 30.03.2026.
