The applicant has filed the present interim application seeking condonation of delay in preferring the Criminal Revision Application thereby challenging the Judgment and order dated 22.07.2025 rendered by the Additional Sessions Judge Islampur, District Sangli. 2.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the delay in filing the revision application is not deliberate and caused due to the time taken for collecting the relevant documents and certified copies. As such, the same may be condoned.

Learned APP has opposed the application submitting that the Sajakali Jamadar 1 of
43-IA-99-2026 (CR).doc applicant has made out no just or sufficient reasons for the condonation of the delay. Hence, the same is liable to be dismissed. 4.
Having heard the submissions from both the sides and upon perusal of the record, particularly the interim application indicates that apart from the delay caused for acquiring the certified copies, no other cogent or sufficient reasons are presented by the applicant. Moreover, the delay so caused is not duly explained or supported by the relevant documents.

Further, the delay caused is also attributed to the concerned Advocate and the time consumed for filing. However, the applicant has failed to show any element of diligency or other plausible cause that prevented the applicant from approaching this Court. 6.
In view of the aforesaid observations, this Court cannot accept the contentions raised by the applicant and allow the application mechanically.

Thus, the application sans merit and accordingly the application is rejected.

In view of the rejection of the Interim Application, the Revision Application also stands dismissed.
