The only contention raised by Mr. Tejas Hilage, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant is that the Applicant is incarcerated since 14th May 2023 and that there is delay in conducting the trial.

Ms. Gotad, learned APP and Mr. Kawaddevi, learned Counsel appearing for the Intervenor state that yesterday i.e. on 2nd April 2025, the matter was listed before the learned Trial Court and two witnesses have been examined. They state that evidence of total 12 witnesses have been recorded by the learned Trial Court and now only 3-4 witnesses have remained to be examined and the matter is placed before the learned Trial Court on 15th April 2025. 3.
This is a case where the earlier Bail Application bearing Bail Application No.3668 of 2023 has been allowed to be withdrawn as the Court was not inclined to grant bail. Thus, the Bail Application on merit is already withdrawn. The offence is very serious under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 4.
It is the submission of learned APP and learned Counsel appearing for the Intervenor that as the trial has started, the bail be not granted. Both of them seek time.

At their request, stand over to 28th April 2025. To be listed fairly high on board.
