Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the applicant/appellant is sentenced to suffer 10 years imprisonment and has already undergone sentence of 6 1⁄2 years. However, when the matter is argued on merit, this Court has shown disinclination to grant the suspension of sentence. Learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, seeks expeditious disposal of the appeal and if the appeal is not decided within a period of six months, to revive the request. 2.

In view of this, hearing of the appeal is expedited. 3.

The interim application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.
