By way of the present Interim Application, the Applicant seeks relaxation/modification of the condition imposed by order dated 6th December 2022 and modified by order dated 8th August 2024.

The original condition imposed by the order dated 6th December 2022, reads thus;

Shivgan 904- IA-936-2025.doc "(ii) The applicant - Ranjit Laxman Tanpure shall report to the DRI Mumbai, once in a month on first Monday of the every month between 11.00 am to 1.00 pm till further orders."

The modified condition vide order dated 8th August 2024, of which further modification is sought, reads thus; "The applicant, Ranjit Laxman Tanpure, shall report to the DRI, Mumbai, and before the trial Court on the dates of the hearing of the trial."

Heard Mr. Amol Mhatre, learned counsel for the appearing for the Applicant, and Mr. Mayur Sonavane, learned APP representing the State in the matter. However, none appears for the Respondent No.2-DRI.

It appears that a Co-accused in the same C.R. has been permitted to report to the DRI, Mumbai, once in three months, i.e., on the first Saturday of the concerned month, between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., commencing from January 2024. The trial has not commenced as yet.

Considering that the Applicant has complied with the bail conditions originally imposed by order dated 6th December 2022 as well as the modified condition imposed by order dated 8th August 2024, I am of the view that the modification as sought deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the condition shall stand modified and shall read thus: (iii) The Applicant - Ranjt Laxman Tanpure is directed to attend and report to Kurundwad Police Station in Kolhapur on every Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Applicant shall also appear and report to the DRI once in three months on the date on which the matter is fixed before the Trial Court.

The original and modified conditions stand further modified in the above terms.

Rest of the order remains as it is.

Interim Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and disposed of accordingly.
