This is an Application for condonation of delay of 180 days in filing the Appeal against the judgment and order dated 24.7.2024 passed by the Special Judge, Kolhapur in Special Case No.66/2020.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant is in custody since January, 2020. He is from poor financial background. There is nobody to look after his PRADIPKUMAR PRAKASHRAO DESHMANE interest. The allegations are made by his own family and, PRADIPKUMAR PRAKASHRAO DESHMANE Date: 2025.08.02 11:06:26 +0530 therefore, his family is not helping him. The Appeal is filed Deshmane(PS)

3-IA-1247-25-delay.odt with the help of Legal Services Authority of this Court. Some time was lost in collecting the papers and in collecting the certified copy. All this has caused delay in filing the Appeal. 3.
Learned APP does not have any objection for condoning the delay.

Considering these submissions and in the interest of justice, I am inclined to condone the delay of 180 days caused in filing the Appeal.

Hence, the following order :

i.
The Application is allowed.
ii.
The delay of 180 days in filing the Appeal, is condoned.
iii. The Appeal be processed further.
iv.
