By way of the present application, the Applicant seeks modification of Clause (ii), Paragraph 4 of the bail order dated 22nd October 2024. The order directs the Applicant to be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount. 2.

The Applicant seeks extension of this time since he was unable to furnish the said bond and surety in the like amount within the time stipulated by the Court.

I have heard Ms. Anamika Malhotra, learned APP representing the State in the matter.

In my view, in the interest of justice, the time to furnish the PR bond of the said amount with one solvent surety in the like amount is extended for a period of four weeks from the date of this order.
