DATED : 12th JUNE, 2025 P.C. :- 1) This is an Application for condonation of delay of 178 days in preferring the Appeal against the judgment and order dated 22nd August 2024, passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Daman in Sessions Case No.09 of 2020.
2) Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that, he is in custody for more than 4 years and 8 months. He is in poor financial condition. Therefore, it was difficult for him to make arrangement to engage a private Advocate. Some time was also lost in collecting the papers and filing the Appeal. Therefore, the delay be condoned. 1/2

4) Therefore, in the interest of justice, the delay of 178 days in filing the Appeal is condoned.
