This application is for extension of time of one month to deposit the outstanding amount in the trial court as per order dated 27th March 2025. On a query being made to the learned Advocate for the applicant regarding why the amount is not paid as per the undertaking given to this court, she submits the amount was agreed to be deposited in the trial court. I have perused the order dated 27th March 2025 and RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI 1/3
the undertaking given by the applicant. In view of the undertaking and the order passed by this court and more particularly paragraph 8 of the order, it is clear that the undertaking of the applicant is to make payment of Rs. 6,00,000/- to the complainant/victim within two months post his release. Hence, there is no question of depositing it in the trial court. The applicant is under obligation to comply with the undertaking by making payment to the victim/complainant.

Learned Advocate for the applicant on instructions submits that the applicant is released on 12th April 2025 and thus the time of two months expired on 12th June 2025. Learned counsel for the applicant on instructions submits that within two weeks an amount of Rs. 6,00,000/- shall be paid to the complainant/victim.

She submits that a fresh undertaking for depositing the amount within two weeks shall be filed in this court on 16th June 2025. The applicant is permitted to file fresh undertaking on 16th June 2025. The undertaking shall state that on or before 27th June 2025 the applicant shall make payment of Rs. 6,00,000/- to the victim/complainant as per 2/3
the applicant's undertaking submitted by the applicant in this court in Bail Application No. 4103 of 2023.

Subject to the applicant filing such an undertaking in this court on 16th June 2025, time to comply with the undertaking is extended till 27th June 2025. The applicant to serve a copy of the undertaking upon the learned APP. 7.
It is clarified that if such undertaking is not filed as stated above or the undertaking is not complied, the same will be a ground for cancellation of bail granted vide order dated 27th March 2025. It is further clarified that no further extension shall be granted.
8.
List the application for reporting compliance on 30th June 2025. To be listed at 3.00 pm.
