Heard Mr. Sushant Mhatre, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, Ms. Bhosale, learned APP appearing for the Respondent No.1-State and Ms. Chavan, learned Counsel appointed to represent the Respondent No.2.

The relief sought in this Interim Application is to modify Digitally signed by SONALI MILIND PATIL Date:
2025.06.21 13:33:25 +0530 condition No.(i) as stipulated in the order dated 25th April 2025 SONALI MILIND PATIL passed by a learned Single Judge in Interim Application No.2274 of 2024 in Criminal Appeal No.857 of 2024 and that the Applicant
be permitted to furnish temporary cash bail and some time be granted to furnish sureties as stipulated in the said order dated 25th April 2025.

Mr. Mhatre, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant states that the Applicant is not having relatives and therefore, he is not in a position to furnish sureties presently. He states that if the Applicant is released on temporary cash bail, the Applicant will furnish sureties.

Ms. Bhosale, learned APP appearing for the Respondent No.1-State and Ms. Chavan, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.2 submit that the Applicant hails from Uttar Pradesh and therefore, the Applicant be directed to furnish local sureties. 5.
Mr. Mhatre, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant states that if some time is given the Applicant will furnish local sureties.

Accordingly, the Interim Application No.2115 of 2025 is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b). The Applicant is permitted
to furnish cash surety in the sum of Rs.25,000/- in lieu of sureties as directed by clause No.(i) of the said order dated 25th April 2025 passed by a learned Single Judge for a period of six weeks. 7.
The Applicant is granted six weeks time to furnish local sureties.

Accordingly, the Interim Application is allowed in above terms with no order as to costs.
