The Applicant has filed the above Appeal against the judgment and order dated 15th April 2019 passed by the learned Special Judge in CBI Special Case No.91 of 2013 by which the learned Special Judge has convicted him for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 read with Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 2 years.

The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the applicant has made application to respondent No.3 for issuance of passport. It is submitted that though there is no legal impediment to issue passport to the Applicant, the Application made by him is not being considered in view of the conviction and pendency of the present Appeal. 3.

Respondent No.3 shall consider the application of the Applicant for issuance of passport in accordance with law.

Needless to mention that respondent No. 3 shall issue the passport, in the absence any legal impediment.

The Applicant shall seek prior permission of this Court before travelling abroad.
