DATED : 23rd DECEMBER, 2025 P.C. :- 1) The present Appeal filed under Section 11 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999 raises a challenge to the Order dated 07/12/2024 passed by the MPID Court directing the Appellant to deposit the amount in the Court on the ground that the 1st installment received by it from the accused, is public money and the accused had deposited premium of 1st installment but defaulted in payment of 2nd installment, as a result of which, the leave and license agreement itself came to be revoked.

Being satisfied with the reasons set out in the Application and in specific, paragraph nos.8 to 11, Application is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).

3) Since we are informed by the learned Senior Counsel that Appeals of the co-accused are slated for hearing on 13/01/2026, we direct listing of the present Appeal, upon its registration, to be placed along with the other Appeals i.e., Criminal Appeal Nos.10/2025 and 12/2025 on 13/01/2026.
