This is an Application for amendment to the main Criminal Application (APL) No.668/2017.
2) Learned Counsel for the Applicants states that the original Applicant No.2 has passed away. In the meantime, the cognizance is also taken. Therefore, he is seeking amendment which is mentioned in the schedule to this Interim Application.
3) We have considered these submissions.
4) Instead of considering the schedule as is mentioned in this Application, we are granting leave to amend for the following purposes :- (a) to remove the name of the Applicant No.2 from the cause-title;
(b) to annex a copy of the charge-sheet;

(d) to add the prayer for challenging the Order taking cognizance; and (e) to add the necessary grounds for challenging the Order taking cognizance.
5) Leave to amend for the above purposes, is granted. Amendment be carried out within a period of four weeks from today. After the amendment is carried out, in view of the Order dated 11/09/2025 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No.3901/2021 and the Order dated 09/09/2025 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No. 2056 of 2025, the matter would lie before the appropriate Single Judge Bench of this Court. 6) The Office shall take steps to place this matter before the appropriate Single Judge Bench of this Court, once the amendment is carried out.
7) The present Application is disposed of.
8) It is made clear that the amendment is allowed in the aforesaid terms and we have not referred to the schedule of amendment. 9) Since it will take some time for the matter to be placed before the Single Judge Bench of this Court, ad-interim protection granted earlier, shall continue for a period of ten weeks from today.
