By this application, the applicant seeks suspension of
sentence and grant of bail, pending the hearing and final disposal of the present revision application. 2.
The applicant, vide judgment and order dated 25 October 2013, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Thane, in SCC No.15539 of 2012, was convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981 ("NI Act") and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for four months and pay Rs.10 lakhs to respondent No.1 (original complainant) and, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for three months. 3.
In Criminal Appeal bearing No.434 of 2013, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, vide judgment and order dated 22 July 2025 confirmed the applicant's conviction and dismissed the appeal.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has already deposited Rs.2,50,000/- after the judgment passed by the trial Court, and now the applicant is ready to deposit an amount of Rs.7,50,000/- within two days before the trial Court.

Considering the nature of the accusations, pending the hearing and final disposal of the criminal revision application, the applicant's sentence is suspended and he is enlarged on bail
on executing a personal bond of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one or more sureties in the like amount, subject to depositing Rs.7,50,000/- before the trial Court within one week from today.
